The much-revered hard rockers drop their engrossing new single and video, Pit Lane Fire, out now.
Founded by collaborating London song-writers Tola Lamont and guitarist Kurt Michael, NITROVILLE garnered international press attention as soon as they burst onto the scene, with plaudits praising the group’s strong musicianship and songwriting expertise, as well as Tola Lamont’s powerful vocalsand guitarist Kurt Michael’s impressive guitar work and distinctive style. To date, NITROVILLE’s multiple single and album releases have racked up strong acclaim throughout Europe and North America, with everyone from Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Magazine, Rock It, Fireworks, Inferno, Metalized, and Sleaze Roxx, all backing and supporting the band.
Besides a hearty recording output, the unrelenting quintet have also extensively toured throughout UK and Europe, and in doing so, have played London’s O2 Arena and have supported the likes of Scorpions, Megadeth, U.D.O, Dan Reed Network, and The Dead Daisies. Now one of the favorites on the festival circuit, NITROVILLE have played Stonefree Festival, Hard Rock Hell and Monsterfest, as well as playing festivals in Texas, USA.
NITROVILLE are poised to rise further with the launch of their new album, Ten Chapters, which is due for release later this year. In the meantime, the fivesome set loose their explosive new single and video, Pit Lane Fire, and it’s a thunderous slab of engaging hard rock stocked with fiery riffs and a driving groove. The band reveal their inspiration behind the single: “Pit Lane Fire came from a quote in Classic Rock Magazine, describing the band as ‘burning like a NASCAR pit lane fire’. A good title in itself, the song describes the tense focus of NASCAR-pilots in the verse, the emotions in the mid-section and the euphoria in the chorus.”
