RUINA SET LOOSE STUNNING NEW VIDEO

Surging Brit heavyweights RUINA will unleash their enthralling new EP, As The Sky Begins To Break, on Friday 30th September. The formidable crew have also delivered their powerful brand-new single and video, Ash & Fire. Watch the video here.

Hailing from across the South West of England, RUINA originally started life in 2020 as a solo project for talented multi-instrumentalist, Harv Lake. With a potent desire to play live and to explore new pathways and sounds, by February 2020 Harv had assembled a fully-fledged band, and debut EP, Nemesis. Deserved acclaim soon followed as RUINA hit the live scene with a flurry of high-octane performances. Last year’s sophomore EP, A Hundred Voices, further underlined the band’s growing stature, and illustrated that RUINA have the vision and quality to rival many leading figures within the metal fraternity.

RUINA have gathered the attention of numerous industry tastemakers, as well as rousing an influx of new fans drawn to their distinctive delivery of cutting-edge music. Their live shows repeatedly engage, ignite, and excite the listener, making them undoubtedly a key band to watch in 2023. The stout metallers now set loose their engulfing new EP, As The Sky Begins To Break, which is backed by a breathtaking new single, Ash & Fire. The EP is stacked with razor sharp riffery, and features the striking collaborative vocals of Harv Lake and Chris Owens. It’s everything you want from a heavy record: hard-hitting, emotive, riff laden, and absolutely compelling.

A forthcoming run of shows with emerging riff merchants RITUALS takes place this October, and RUINA have further plans to tour extensively later this year and throughout 2023.

RUINA & Rituals live: 06.10 Leicester – Metal Monacle; 07.10 Dudley – Ye Olde Foundry; 08.10 Bolton – The Alma;09.10 Rotherham – The Hive.

As The Sky Begins To Break’ EP track listing: 1) Intro; 2) Ash & Fire; 3) The Truth; 4) Wavebreaker.
