Eclectic quintet FONZY & COMPANY unleash their utterly fascinating new EP, Touché, on Friday 17th June. The exciting rockers have also dropped a new single, No Way (Man You’re Old).

Coming at you from Bristol, but with origins from London, Yeovil, Wales, and Scotland, FONZY & COMPANY take in a diverse mixture of powerful influences varying from Jimmy Eat World, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, and The Pixies, through to Rush and the Gin Blossoms. Although initially formed in 2019 as a solo recording project for vocalist and guitarist Fonzy Armour, the quality of the material lent itself to a far more extensive approach. Long-time friends Olivia Jury (Vocals) and Sam Bennett (Drums / Percussion) were instantly drawn to the tracks that Fonzy had written and they wanted to collaborate. Soon after, the EP Last Birth was released, followed by the band’s next EP, Is It Me? Both EPs earned strong praise, and singles from the releases went on to accumulate over 1500 worldwide radio plays. Additional members came and went as time went on, until 2021 when Fonzy drafted in permanent members Lauren Hannah (lead guitar and vocals) and Sam Lane (bass) to steady and expand the group’s ample sound.

FONZY & COMPANY are primed to release their enthralling third EP, Touché. The record was produced by Innersound Audio (Asking Alexandria, Glamour of the Kill, Skarlett Riot), and it’s a release that’s overflowing with engaging cuts of Punk, Indie, and Alternative Rock. The EP is the band’s finest work to date – it’s an immersing ride that is enduringly appealing.
